Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I recieved probation before judgement for misdemenor theft. Do I have to disclose this to my employer. I plead not guilty to the charge but still recieved pbj. I have been working for this company for 13 years. They are now updating their hr files and I need to fill out paperwork for a background check.

Probation before judgement is not a conviction. However, it shows in records unless you have it expunged.
