Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

In reference to the Stet disposition: I (Social Worker) have a client who was a victim of a sex crime, my client was interviewed by a rep from the States' Attorney's Office(Prosecutor), after her interview I never heard back from her and I found (Md Case search) that there was a stet disposition. Does this mean that the case is CLOSED, that she decided my client was not a credible witness-What could this mean for my client?

Stet means no court date will be set, unless either the state or defenant requests one within a year from the date of entry. Thereafter either may still request a court date, but must first show a judge good cause why it should be set.

There are many reasons why the state may have entered stet. You would have to ask the assistant state's attorney who handled it.
