Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
The state charged my husband with second degree assault on me. What will happen to him in court if I don't show up? He has never been in trouble with the law before. Will this remain on his record?

The state may request a body attachment to bring you to court, if you were served with a summons; the state may request a postponement, if you were not served; or the state may dismiss the charges.
