Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I was placed on a stet docket in june of 2009 and i was woundering how long i was on ste for?

A stet remains in that status forever, unless a party moves to have a trial date set. Either the state or defendant may move for any reason within the first year, and after a year either party may ask a judge to find good cause that the case should be set for trial. After three years a defendant may petition for expungement, which would remove the record from public view.
