Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

I testified that my son did not commit an assult.I was present at the scean. The states attoney stated that I lied to protect my son. What can I do to prove other wise?

Don't say anything else to the state's attorney. Hire a local criminal defense attorney to protect your rights. If the states attorney wants to come after you for perjury, there's nothing you can do to change his/her mind.

Perhaps other witnesses saw what you saw, but it is really difficult to prove something did not happen.
