Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Theft under $100
I have to attend court, on Wed November 29, 2006. And my question is am I required to have a lawyer, Or can I represent myself???

You did not indicate why you are required to attend court. (As a defendant? As a witness? As a victim of a crime?)
If you have been charged with a crime, you would be well advised to consult with an attorney. Even a small theft (I assume you meant theft under $300, which is a misdemeanor offense in Maryland) is punishable by a fine and a prison term. A person charged with an offense should have an attorney to defend them and to put the facts before the Court in a way that is most advantageous for the defendant.
