Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I am currently on unsupervised probation and am wondering if a restraining order served against me can carry additional consequence thus breaking the terms of probation. The person complaining against me is doing so from another state.

Probably not, but check your probation contract, it'll tell you exactly what you must do and what you can't do.

Possibly. In Maryland a peace order may be entered either if the defendant consents without a finding, which would not violate, or if the court finds that the defendant committed a crime against the plaintiff, which probably would violate probation. Laws do vary from state to state.
