Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
Is it a violation of my rights if i don't get a preliminary with in 30 days ?

No. Although the commissioner or court clerk is supposed to schedule one withing 30 days, if the defendant requests one within 10 days of the initial appearance, the court may reschedule the hearing for good cause.
