Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland
I have a warrant I just found out about but the warrant was issue to a different address no date of birth just my name but this is my first charge and I the warrant is 2years old would I get a bail or let out on my own recogn.

A warrant for your arrest might have a bail preset by a Judge. If not, it will be set after your arrest by the Commissioner. The amount of bail is determined by the seriousness of the charges and your prior arrest history. The best thing to do is contact a criminal lawyer to see if a bail has been set, and if so petition the Court, prior to your arrest, to see if the bail can be changed.
