Your right to drive in new york has been suspended.

New York may have reciprocity wih Maryland. In that case you will receive a letter from your Department of Motor Vehicles that your license has been suspended.

In any event, when you go to renew your license in Maryland, you might not be able to do so.

This is a ticking time bomb. When it explodes, it will become more difficult to take care of. You should higher a New York Lawyer as soon as possible.

Maryland will most likely not suspend your license until you are convicted of the DUI. If that happens, the conviction and points will transfer to Maryland. Then you have a right to a hearing at the MVA. You should definitely go to that hearing, with an attorney, to prevent suspension or revocation.

From your question I cannot decide which state you are licensed in. However if your license is suspended or revoked in either state then your privileges to drive in the other state are also suspended or revoked.
