can a 1st wife go after 2nd wife's assets for child support if

husband has no money?

No. However, the court will examine why the father isn't working. If he is voluntarily unemployed, the judge can base his child support obligation on an expected income. Thereafter, if he fails to pay, the 2nd wife may have to pay the back child support to keep her husband out of jail.
