Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

i have a 3 year old. Her father and I are not togather. i would like to move out of state. there is no court aggrements at this time. Id like to know can i move without asking him first?

If you have sole custody of your daughter, and the father has ABSOLUTELY ZERO parental rights to the child, you do not need to ask him or the a Court for permission to move. However, if the father has any parental rights (and you should discuss your situation further with a Maryland family law attorney before you do anything), you may not move without first obtaining approval of the Court.
