Re: abiding visitation
If there is a court order in place, you can file an action to enforce the order and have her found in contempt. If she is denying visitation entirely and without justification, the court may entertain a companion motion to modify custody and give you primary/sole custody. Each case requires analysis individually, of course. And, if there is no court-ordered visitation, and she denies access to the child, you would need to file to get an order in place. If the child's mother is in violation of the terms of a court ordered visitation agreement, she is in contempt. File a complaint for contempt and in the section where you describe the relief you are seeking, include how she can "purge" or cure her contempt (e.g., makeup visitation, etc.).
