Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My boyfriend of 8yrs and I have broken up and I want to move to GA with our daughter would that be considered kidnapping.

If there is no custody order in place, then either parent is free to relocate with the child. However, as a result of the move, he may file for custody in Maryland.

The previously answer is correct. Without a court order, you can move to Georgia.
