Concerns of grandchild

My daughter and grandchild live with me and she is on drugs. She is constantly dragging her son from one home to another and he has only slept here in my home 3-4 times in the past 3 months. I am so concerned about his welfare. Is there anything I can do? She won--name removed--admit her drug problem. She can--name removed--hold a job. She in not working once again. Please help!

Re: Concerns of grandchild

I suggest you contact the Dept. of Social Services in your county to initiate an investigation. You didn't say you wanted to try and get custody of your grandson, but if so you would need the findings of Social Services supporting your claims about your daughter to demonstrate her unfitness as a parent.
