Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Custody

My son is in foster care in MD. And I have submitted the Interstate Compact, and file custody papers, what else can I do, that would make the process faster to get my son home? Is there any other forms that I need to file?

Re: Custody

Other than pestering the state office through which you submitted the Interstate Compact documents, not much. This is a very slow process and deals not only with government agencies of two different states, but also multiple agencies within the states. In Maryland, requests are submitted to Annapolis and then make their way to the appropriate county.
