You may consider hiring a Maryland domestic (family) lawyer who has experience in immigration issues.

You didn't state where in Maryland you reside. I am licensed in 4 jurisdictions, including Maryland. Moreover, I handle cases from north of Baltimore through the counties adjoining 95 South to the DC Beltway.

Your spouse may or many not have a claim for part of the value of the property. To answer this question, more information is needed, including when you purchased the property and whether your spouse though his/her efforts increased the value of the property.

If you need additional information about your rights or about the grounds for divorce (absolute and limited, please contact me)
