Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I was married in June of 2009 by September of 2009 my husband decided he no longer wanted to be married. Before we were married I signed a pre-nuptial agreement that states that if we were to divorce that I would not take his home. Unfortunately, things are getting worse, I suspect him of infedelity but I do not have proof. He is mentally and verbally abusing me. He is now threatning to put me and my son out in June, and I do not have the funds to move and I do not have any family members to stay with. I will leave but I think he should be responsible for helping me with some type of payment to move since he does not want to be married. I have asked him to go to counseling but he says he just wants out because he doesn't want to be married to me. What are my rights if he puts me and my son out of the house?

That depends of what the pre-nuptial agreement says and whether the agreement may be challenged. If you signed the agreement under duress, or were misled somehow, there may be a basis for challenging the agreement.
