Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
modification of costody
my husband is currently in a situation where he feals that it is not in his childrens best interest to reside with thier mother any longer. His ex-wife currently has custody of thier two minor boys and my husband has visitation. resently the older son (age 14) has stsrted to travel down the wrong path ie. smoking, drinking, failing his freshman year of high school. His mother seems to be enabling this time of behavior rather than discourageing it (buying his ciggarrettes ect.) What should be our first course of action? Do we have a case?

Re: modification of costody
Yes, your husband should get a lawyer to file for custody of the boys, as well as child support.
