Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

My spouse got a mortgage on a home we found together six months befor we married. Is there any monetary award if we divorce, even though we both payed the mortgage.But its in only one name ?

You may get credit for some of the mortgage payments you made and any improvements you may to the house. The court has the discretion to place a value on those two items.
