Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Do step Mother have rights? My husband has a child with another woman who keeps telling me to keep out of the childs being. I have been in her life for almost 6 yrs now.

If your husband is the legal father with visitation or custody, he can control what contact you have with his child while the child is in his custody. The mother can't tell you to stay away from the child during your husband's visitation.
