Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland
I have been summons to appear in court for ex parte hearing in regards to child custody. my wife is trying to seek sole temporary custody and most of the information listed in her motion is untrue and I have documentation to prove otherwise. I also had community residents and co-workers write notarized statements on my behalf, that have witness my relationship with my minor child. Do I have to present these items to the courts prior to the hearing for them to be amissable or can I bring them on the day of?

Such statements are not evidence as they are "hearsay"
. You must use a live witness who can be cross examined.
