Cosigner rights to collateral

I am the primary and my soon to be ex-husband is a cosigner on a vehicle loan. I am the only name on the title. The payment was one month behind and I took repossesion of the vehicle. Does he have any legal recourse?

He has no right to possession since his name isn't on the title. However, if there is any equity in the vehicle he has a claim to his share of it as part of the divorce.
