Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Maryland

wrecked house and car

I had friends over, and one underage person who was drunk went in my garage and into my car without my permission. he started the car and ran it into the wall, shifting the entire wall about one inch. ruining my bumper and hood a big whole in the wall, cracks in the wall from top to bottom. the door to enter the garage from the house won't even open. is there anything I can do to make him take care of all damages? please tell me there is.

You can of course sue him (through his parents or guardian, since he's underage, but the chances of collecting even if you are successful would seem to be slim, unless he's employed. If you have comprehensive coverage on your car and homeowners coverage for the property, you'd probably be better off going through that. Of course, if you supplied the alcohol to this minor, they might refuse coverage.
