Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

i been in america for about 4 year ,i'm a student in high school i'm not even a resident but the laywer is working on the paper.

i will like to know if i can get a student visa to go college in canada without it effecting me being a usa resident

I understand that you are not a US permanent resident yet. It's not clear what is your current non-immigrant status (visa) in USA. You need to consult your lawyer. If your case is pending in USCIS or Immigration Court, then if you leave the USA to go to Canada before becoming a permanent resident in USA, you may lose your eligibility.
