Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland
I-290b
Who fills out and sign form i-290b in case of AOS based on marriage to USC? Is it the USC or the beneficiary? Do you need 2 motions, one for I-130 and one for I-485?
Also, the top of the form states: ''in the matter of'' What does that mean?
THANK YOU.

Re: I-290b
The I-290B is used to advise the USCIS that you are filing a motion to reopen or reconsider a case that USCIS has denied. If the denial addresses the I-130, it is the U.S. citizen who petitioned for the beneficiary. If it is a denial of the I-485, then it is the applicant or beneficiary. In the Matter of means the person who is appealing.
