Legal Question in Employment Law in Maryland
A previous employee has kept my email account active since my resignation with the company.
The email accounts has my name in the address. There is no reply to emails sent to this address that I am no longer an employee with this organization.
All current emails being sent to my email address are being forwarded to the individual that replaced me.
How can an organization continue to use an email address that includes my name when I am no longer an employee of the organization.

How do you know the employee has authorization from the company?
Contact your former supervisor and the IT supervisor about this employee's use.
I recommend sending the letter certified mail/return receipt.
A week after you send the letter, make follow up calls to the IT supervisor and/or your supervisor.
