What recourse do I have to protect myself from emotional abuse by my supervisor?

Look at your employee manual. What does it say about complaints against supervisors? If the company is large enough, your company may have an HR Department.

Keep in mind, unless your company handles these complaints seriously, they can create reasons to terminate you. In fact, if you are an employee at will, your employer does not have to have a reason to terminate you.

You didn't say why you believe your employer is emotionally abusing you. More information is needed to determine if your complaints would be protected under an applicable state or federal law (eg, sex or age discrimination, FMLA retaliation, etc.).
