Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

My husband and I were involved in a parking lot accident were we backed op at the same time as another car was and hit each other. I gave her my information but we did not make a report. She now has made a claim and is trying to say it is our fault but we hit each-other. She wants me to pay her out of pocket which I will not do. The damage to my car is far more severe than hers. How should I handel this. Her company called us and wanted us to make a recorded statement, which we refused to do.

Contact your insurance company and report the accident. Don't do the recorded statement. Don't pay out of pocket. Sometimes accidents just happen; sometimes people lie.
