Legal Question in Personal Injury in Maryland

My vehicle was totaled by another driver, their insurance company will pay for the value of my vehicle but that may only pay back the amount I currently owe. Once that vehicle is paid off, I am without a vehicle. Is the insurance company responsible to also to replace my car ?

Unfortunately, many people are left without a car because of the security interest of the lender. The insurance company isn't required to pay you more than the value your car. Of course, if you had other damages, you would be entitled to those damages.
