Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Maryland

Adding a person's name to a deed to a house.

How do you add a person to the deed of a home or as a beneficiary to a home? Are there any legal forms that need to be completed.

Yes. The owner must execute a deed transferring ownership to the new ownership entity. A real estate attorney can prepare such a deed, or if you think you can figure out how to do it properly, you can buy a form at an office supply store. It will also have to be recorded properly in the land records of your county.
