My Rights as a Renter
I have been unemployed for two months and am one month late with my rent and was given a court date by my Apartment of 9/24. Today a notice was placed on my door saying if I do not pay the late rent before the court date I will be evicted. What is my right. Thank you.

It's obviously after 9/24 now, but in MD a tenant has the right to pay in full and redeem the lease (and stop an eviction) at any time up to the commencement of the actual eviction (i.e., after the court date), unless the landlord has had to file repeatedly for eviction for late payment.
