Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
my car was legally parked in my parking lot at my residence. My tags have been expired for 4 days .Can a car be towed for expired tags?

Yes, and a lot of apartment buildings and other complexes tow for that reason. Read the agreement on parking at the complex.

The law requires that a car on a public street have a valid registration. If it does not, it may be towed. On private property the issue is whether the owner of the property has given permission. The landowner may condition permission on anything that the guest or tenant agrees to. The agreement, such as an apartment lease controls. If it's in the lease, you are out of luck.
