Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Went to court today for driving on suspended a year ago
It had been postponed twice before and the judge would nthe judge would not postpone it a 3rd time so the states attorney suggested i ask for a jury trial to buy
me a little more time. I was granted that but the only
problem is i only have 5 days until the jury trial and
the public defenders office needs at least 10 days to
hire me an attorney. What should i do at this point

Make the request again in circuit court. If postponement granted there, then go immediately to the public defender.
