Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
Follow up on producing registration. Does "on demand" mean immediately? If you produce it before the officer gives you a ticket, but he still gives you a ticket, what does the law say about that?

"On demand" means when the officer asks for it as opposed to later that day or on another day. Most judges would probably find that you complied, if you produced the license before the end of the traffic stop.
