Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
I got my first speeding ticket in 28 years (39 in a 25). I would like to get the points taken off my driving record. If I check guilty with an explanation on the ticket and go to court is there a good chance the judge will remove the points because of my past clean record?

That depends on whom you draw as a judge. Some will, and some will not.

But why plead guilty? Make the cop come to court first, and then decide what to do.
