Legal Question in Traffic Law in Maryland
In the state of Maryland my wife just received a $90 ticket for touching the line at a stop sign there was a crosswalk present but no pedestrians anywhere near the crosswalk she did make a complete stop at the stop sign is this a legal ticket

A ticket is neither legal or illegal in and of itself. It's an accusation of violating the law, and that's it. If your wife believes that she did nothing wrong, then request a trial, before the deadline to do so passes. Information about trial should be on the ticket, perhaps on the back.

All tickets issued by a police officer are "legal". The question is, can the State prove the charges. She should contact an attorney immediately.
