Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland
emergency loan
i have been on workers comp for over a year now. If I get a job and the pay is not that good, can I get an emergency loan from WC so I can pay my bills untill my settlement comes through?

That would depend on the carrier's policy, but I'd be surprised if they would advance anything. The only possibility would be if their doctor has already examined you and acknowledged there is a certain level of permanent impairment.
