Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

insurance

i collected workers comp for a work related surjury for three weeks. i have insurance at my place of employment. i pay 50 dollars aweek for for my medical insurance. do i have to pay that when i return to work or does workmans comp pay it.thanks cathy

Workers' comp does not pay health insurance premiums--the two are unrelated. However, they should have paid all of the medical bills associated with your work injury rather than your health insurer. Once you return to work on regular duty, you're back on the payroll at your regular salary, and all normal deductions apply.
