Legal Question in Workers Comp in Maryland

Law passed

I hust my back in December of 1999. My doctor said I have a 37% impairment rate. I am currently in the process of going for total permenant disability. My question is, I heard there was a law passed sometime in 1998 of 1999 that states you no longer get paid for the rest of your life, rather a certain amount of weeks. I am trying to find out if my injury occurred before the law was passed and what I would be entitled to, if I am granted total permenant disability.

Re: Law passed

Based on the facts you stated in this post, you seem to be the same individual who made an earlier post that was based on a DC case. This one, according to the post is based on a MD case. You need to state your facts more correctly and succinctly so we can give you a useful answer. The laws are different in each jurisdiction.
