settlement

i have an attorney in which i cannot get a hold of.i,ve bin offered a settlement,can i by pass my attorney so i don,t haft to pay legal fees

If your attorney was involved in getting you the settlement, or even if he performed other services in aid of your claim, he/she is entitled to be paid for those services. However, if you want to start working with a new attorney or on your own, you can ask the attorney to withdraw their appearance.
