My wife's visa expired

My wife entered this country on a fiancee visa in 2005. She didn't marry him. I met her in 2006 and we got married last october. What can we do to get legal status for her without her having to return to Brazil.

You can't. Your wife will have to return to Brazil before she can obtain resident status. This is a complex issue. I recommend you contact an attorney.
