Legal Question in Disability Law in Massachusetts

8 1/2 years ago, my Mom created a Trust for her home. She is now in a Nursing Home and may have to remain there for the foreseeable future. Is the house protected or can she lose it for her health care?

Because your mother transferred the home more than 5 years ago, there is a very good chance that her home is not at risk. Because Medicaid is so complicated, I strongly suggest that you speak with an elder law/medicaid attorney.
