Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts

Black-Mail

Bank of America is going to charge me $6.00 to cash my paycheck, even though it's drawn on them. Unless I open an account with them. I have my own bank where i live. but if i open an account with them and leave only a $1.00 in it, they woun't charge me the $6.00. I have tried countless Gov. and State agency;s to help us but they just re-direct me. All this bank wants is my personal information in there computer. That's black-mail to me. Why charge me $6.00 to cash my paycheck unless I have a $1.00 in there account. My employer pay's me with a Bank of America check and I give them my MA. license to verify who I am. My employer already pay's them to handle there millions in there bank. It's also a violation of my civil and privacy right's as an american citizen. I have my own bank where I live and I'm being strong-armed for $6.00 a week just to cash my pay-check because I woun't give them my personal information. It start's this week and when they take one night's supper for my family out of my paycheck,I want a criminal and civil right's violation law suit against the bank and the Gov. for not protecting me under the constitution of the united states. That's 52 supper's my family loses because a bank want's my life in there computer

Re: Black-Mail

You are free to contract with Bank of America on terms agreeable to you both. If you do not accept their terms, you are free to find another bank with which to do business.

Barring illegal discrimination of some kind, you have no legal right to check cashing.
