Consumer information rights

Does a consumer have a legal right to any and all info a business has of that consumer?

Generally speaking, no, the company is under no obligation to share information that it has compiled on you, personally. As far as your payment history on an account with the company, then you have a different issue. While the company still has no legal obligation to provide you with a copy of its records, you can obtain/dispute this information through the credit bureaus.

There is also another caveat to this rule. If you are actively involved in litigation with the company, then you can engage in discovery which would give you the right to demand any and all information that may lead to admissable evidence in that case (which is pretty broad). Check Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.260 - 1.360.
