purchase contract for used vehicle

i purchased a used vehicle in state of masschusetts on 11/14/08 and now changed my mind- can i back out of the contract? i am in posession of the vehicle

Unless the seller agrees to cancel the sale and accept the return of the vehicle or the vehicle fails the safety inspection and the cost of repairs of the safety items to pass inspection exceeds 10% of the sale price or you retain an attorney who finds some other flaw in the contract, you are equally bound by the contract as is the seller.
