Legal Question in Consumer Law in Massachusetts
Verbal Agreement
I was asked if I wanted to buy a vehicle..Private sale.. They met us, we drove it and I stated I want it, I'll buy it...We were told to meet Monday morning to get paperwork to see if I could obtain a title as it had no title from NH... The night before we received a phone call that they backed out and were keeping the vehicle their son was selling to us..as they wanted it....Was our verbal agreement legal binding?
