Is it illegal to date someone who's 19 if your 16?

No, it is not illegal to date someone who is 19, if you are 16. The parents of both the 16 and 19 year old will probably have a problem with such a dating relationship. The age of 16 is discussed in the Massachusetts statutory rape statute which is sexual intercourse or unnatural sexual intercourse with a child under 16 years of age.
