Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I was wrongly accused of a crime at work

I had a argument with a co worker at my job,she reported me to my supervisor who chose not to discipline me,she felt she was complaining too much as she was.She then made up a story that I damaged her vehicle at work in the parking lot She lied about the whole thing,i was arrested at work.Well i was found not guilty in court and my question is do i have legal recourse against her for the lied and the embarassment she did against me not to mention the money i had to pay for a lawyer? She purposely tried to get me fired and in trouble with the law just because she was mad,the judge in the trial even went as far as to say her car was not keyed rather damanged probably by being driven through the woods,I also feel i should have no criminal record i have never been in trouble before in my life and do not want that arrest hanging over my head

There are several possible actions you may have, including abuse of process. You need to way the cost-effectiveness of pursuing such action, especially if this other person lacks resources to compensate you, if and when you prevail.
