Child Support

A co-workers ex husband has just died. He has named in his will his present wife as the only heir in his will. There is a minor child, 14 years old. As a minor can she not receive something of her father's will?

Re: Child Support

A child may be dis-inherited. As a result, if the will is as you said, the child does not inherit.
